Just because it’s Autumn, doesn’t mean BBQ season has to be over for another year. These lamb koftas with fresh herbs and creamy yoghurt marry perfectly with the soft tannins and rich finish of Yealands Merlot.

You will need:

  • 1kg lamb mince
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • Handful of parsley 
  • 1tsp cumin
  • Salt & Pepper 

To make:

  1. Add lamb mince, sliced onion, crushed garlic cloves, chopped parlsey, cumin and salt and pepper to a food processor, and process until finely chopped and well mixed.
  2. Shape into meatballs
  3. Cook on BBQ or in a pan until brown on all sides and cookd through
  4. Serve with pita bread, cucumber and mint yoghurt sauce. Enjoy!
