A portion of nobly botrytic fruit has produced a distinctive style of wine. It has a core of citrus fruit characters, particularly lemons and limes, but there is also an undercurrent of white fleshed peaches and nectarines. The botrytis has added hints of honeysuckle and also given the wine extra concentration and richness. A seam of natural acidity and minerality flows through the wine and gives it an off-dry finish length and zest.

Pinot gris for the Exiled comes from the St Helena clone of Pinot gris and is grown on both Waiheke and Ponui Islands. The wines are chilled to below zero to stop the fermentation before blending, the blend is held at low temperatures in the cellar until bottling to retain as much of the natural carbon dioxide as possible.

Our Pinque Rose wine is remarkably consistent year on year and the 2019 is no different. Pale salmon in colour with fresh and inviting red berry characters matching a clean, crisp and fresh palate. The 2019 Pinque is a perfect all season aperitif or served as a refreshing taste of summer!

Classical in its fresh herb, lime cordial and passionfruit seed with a coastal element of weathered rock and salt spray. The palate is linear and textured finishing dry and salivating. Picking early has not only captured the classic herbal notes of the variety but has allowed for the vibrant acid profile to be balanced by the concentration from low yields, a hint of barrel weight and a touch of residual sugar retained from the fermentation.

Aromas of ripe melon and peach abound with butterscotch and fig notes. The palate is rich, with ripe fruits, showcasing peach flavours and an inherent creaminess, and a lingering bright finish.

The Pinot Gris is a pale straw colour with a hint of gold. A fragrant wine with jasmine, almond and pear notes. Palate is full-bodied wine with spice, pear, fig and honeysuckle favours. The wine is soft, voluptuous and very drinkable. Food Match - Fish, chicken, pork dishes or Japanese food. Vegan Friendly.

A lovely light salmon colour with hints of pink. Bursting with strawberries, cherries and subtle floral notes. A lovely aperitif style or easily enjoyed with summer salads and seafood.

Pale straw colour with a hint of gold. This Gisborne Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of tropical fruit, passion fruit and subtle herbaceousness. The palate displays flavours of melon, dried herb and subtle passionfruit. The wine finishes with a richness and fullness seen only in good Sauvignon Blanc. 100% of the fruit for this Chardonnay came from McManis' very own River Junction AVA, located at the confluence of the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Rivers. Light golden straw in color with bright fruit aromas of pear, melon, and peach. The palate is driven by notes of stone-fruit, banana, vanilla, and a hint of buttered popcorn. Rich and decadent, this Chardonnay can be enjoyed on its own or with a delicious meal.

Montana Affinity Pinot Gris retains the full flavour and aromas typical of their Pinot Gris, but made in a low alcohol expression. It has aromas of ripe pear, rockmelon and white florals. The balanced fresh acid comes with generous pear, apple and confectionery notes. Perfect match with Veal scallopini, mushroom risotto, fresh salad with grilled chicken.

Montana Affinity Sauvignon Blanc retains the full flavour and aromas typical of their Sauvignon Blanc, but made in a low alcohol expression. On the palate the crisp acidity coupled with a textural sweetness which is reminiscent of fresh grapefruit. Texturally the wine is punctuated by a light spritz that stimulated the palate, lifting the aromas and flavours, providing a carefree, refreshing sip.
