Sourcing our Pinot Noir fruit from the finest vineyards in the Southern Valley sub-region, this wine is sophisticated, intriguing, and is the perfect accompaniment to BQ meats, nutty cheese, and mushroom dishes.

The consumer market demand has been growing steadily for No Added Preservative and Natural wines. As leaders in organic production, it was obvious that Paxton needed a product for this category. In addition to Natural & Organic, they wanted to make a young, drink NOW style of Shiraz that was different from their existing Shiraz styles. 100% Shiraz. Colour: vibrant purple & pink. With a history spanning generations, Penfolds Club Tawny has played a defining role in shaping the winery's renowned House Style. Originally released as single-vintage wines, it has evolved into a carefully crafted multi-varietal, multi-vintage blend that reflects Penfolds' enduring winemaking philosophy. Matured in seasoned oak barrels for an average of at least three years, it remains the cornerstone of the Penfolds fortified collection. Rich yet approachable, Club Tawny opens with inviting aromas of caramel, roasted nuts and ripe plum, lifted by a subtle hint of aniseed. The palate is soft and mellow, with sweet plum and currant flavours balanced by fine spirit and fresh acidity. Gentle notes of oak-aged nuttiness add depth, leading to a smooth, generous finish that has made this classic Tawny a favourite for decades.

Since its inception, Penfolds Koonunga Hill has always aimed to deliver quality, value and consistency. The original 1976 Koonunga Hill Claret is a legendary wine that is still drinking well today. Koonunga Hill Shiraz joined the range in 2002, a contemporary reflection of Penfolds multi-regional sourcing philosophy. Shiraz from the warmer districts of South Australia is carefully blended, with the Barossa Valley always well represented. Ripe plum, blueberry & sweet spice - undeniably South Australian Shiraz. The palate shows flint, liquorice, smoked meat & paprika. Integrated tannins remind us of the wine's place in the Penfolds family.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon parcels sourced from vineyards throughout the Barossa. The fruit is fermented for up to 14 days, then aged for 12 months in a mix of French and American oak. Individual parcels of fruit are matured separately to maximise the blend's complexity and finalised through a selection process. The resulting wine is rich and concentrated with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, blackcurrants and plums with mint and varietal leafy notes. The palate is plush with flavours balanced by fine, textural tannins.

Vibrant and expressive, the Pepperjack Central Otago Pinot Noir pours a brilliant scarlet with a subtle violet hue. Enticing aromas of juicy plum, dark cherry, and mocha are lifted by a hint of wild thyme, setting the stage for a richly layered palate. Bursting with dark cherry and luscious cassis, this Pinot is balanced by silky tannins and a supple mouthfeel. Savoury cocoa notes and resinous spices from oak and whole bunch fermentation add depth, drawing the red and blue fruits across the palate, melding to a complex and concentrated finish.

Crafted with passion and precision, Pepperjack Malbec showcases fruit sourced from the heart of Mendoza, Argentina - sourced by winemaker Richard Mattner to ensure the signature Pepperjack style and quality. In the glass, it reveals a deep, dense black core with a vibrant red hue. Aromas of violets, spice, ripe blueberries, and boysenberry are layered with hints of mocha oak. The palate is rich, round, and textural, delivering juicy flavours of ripe raspberries, satsuma plums, and red currants, supported by fine cocoa-powder tannins for a soft, mouth-filling finish.

Pepperjack Mid strikes a balance between the art of traditional winemaking that Pepperjack is renowned for, and the science of cutting-edge de-alcoholisation and flavour retention technology. Still bursting with quintessential Pepperjack character, this mid-strength wine displays aromas of blackberries and plums with hints of pepper and spice. The palate is rich, round, and soft with concentrated berry fruits and soft velvety tannins.

A tribute to the Barossa's winemaking heritage, Pepperjack is crafted using a blend of traditional techniques and modern flair. Winemaker Richard Mattner - a born-and-bred Barossa local - loves making Pepperjack wines as much as he loves drinking them, especially alongside a great steak. As he says: "Why would I need anything else?" Deep dark red with a vibrant purple rim, the nose bursts with rich aromas of blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, mocha, and spice. The palate is plush and layered, delivering concentrated dark fruits, fine tannins, and a soft, lingering finish. Pepperjack Shiraz is a true Barossa classic.
